Every individual is unique and therefore faces life in his own unique way. Some people know how to successfully cope with life’s challenges; but, a great many need a steady, non-judgmental helping hand to learn how to stand emotionally on their own.
This is where I find myself, making my own mark in making this world a better place to be. It is my calling to help and encourage people in emotional and psychological need to get back on the track of living their lives to the fullest.
As a medical doctor in the field of mental health or psychiatry, I had to undertake psychiatric training. I have learned to analyze the human psyche from many angles and from both micro and macro points of view. I am well versed with various mental health issues and treatments so I tend to approach psychoanalytic and psychiatric problems as a whole.
I received my psychiatric training under the umbrella of the Institute of Psychiatry through its member educational institution, King’s College, London. I pursued further psychoanalytic training at a UKCP registered organization, Centre for Freudian Analysis and Research (CFAR).
How I Help
My training allows me to handle a wide range of people of varying ages. I work with adults, children, teenagers, and families.
In every therapy session, I constantly strive to create a private, non-judgmental, and understanding environment in which gradual healing can take place. My interventions are specifically tailor-made to every individual’s unique character, needs, and circumstances in life.
My objectives are to help my patients:
- discover new insights about who they are
- find positive ways of perceiving themselves
- acquire the social skills to adequately relate with others
My higher aim is to develop my patient’s self-esteem and sense of well-being to give him or her the chance to live life to the utmost.
Experiential, relational, cognitive-behavioral, and mindful-based approaches are some of the psychotherapy strategies I employ when mapping out my counselling plans.
I offer therapy through Skype video chat and email. These services strictly follow the privacy rules governing doctor-patient confidentiality.
